Our Kaminwurzen sausages are a classic of Austrian sausage culture—strong in flavor, compact in bite, and traditionally smoked over beechwood. Made from high-quality beef and pork, the sausages are seasoned according to an old house recipe, carefully aged, and filled in natural casings.
The name "Kaminwurze" comes from the original smoking process above the chimney – in the past, sausages were hung in the roof trusses and naturally preserved by the rising smoke. This artisanal method of refining the sausage gives it its distinctive character.
